MOD and affiliated Laboratories have several useful resources for the development and validation of new GU tumor markers and diagnostic tests, as well as their characterization in and application to clinically relevant patient subsets, including:

• large repository of paraffin embedded prostate biopsy tissues            

(> 30,000 specimens, matched to clinically relevant clinical and pathology data)

• archived sera matching prostate biopsy results
  
• archieved urine/fixed urine matching bladder cancer diagnostics
  
• blood and tissue matching important prostate cancer and prostate biopsy patient subsets, including > 1000 patient repeat biospy samples
